Since fall 2001, Judi Freeman’s classes at Boston Latin School and John Crane’s classes at the International School of Prague have embarked on a transatlantic collaboration. The curricula pursued in the two classes are linked and connect at key intervals and students engage in online discussions after viewing related materials or readings or debating related issues in class. Students from Prague have traveled to Washington, D.C. and Boston; students from Boston have traveled to Eastern Europe. In each case, the respective schools and students have hosted the visiting students.
This exchange has been one of the most rewarding aspects of the learntoquestion website and the course at Boston Latin.
