Introduction

Human rights, economic growth, environmental development – all the things required for a good and thriving community. But what makes a city what it really is? It’s the people. Becoming the Boston city councilor, to him, was an opportunity to improve the community and the lives of its people. He took that opportunity and, for all six years which he had been in office, fought to make the city a better place. Thomas Keane Jr. is a voice that speaks out for changes to the good of the community. He has a clear sense of justice and steered the community into reaching a higher goal of making Boston a better place. From organizations to free-lance writing, he always strives to put improvement of the community as the priority. His acts were for the people. He currently writes for the Boston Globe.
