Meredith Institute is a nonprofit charity organization formed by James Meredith. It is designed to help all Blacks to achieve greater knowledge. His organization has created new library schools that teach on weekends and after school. The system of the library school uses a method where anybody can teach as long as they have an educational background above the third grade. It follows a teach yourself system so the students can learn at their own pace.
