In 1940, Thurgood Marshall established the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund. NAACP LDF is America's oldest civil rights organization devoted for securing equal rights for all. They supplied lawyers and attorneys to help those fighting for equal rights. This organization, under Thurgood Marshall's leadership, won the Brown v. Board of Education case, which eliminated segregation in public schools. There were also many other court cases that this organization brought to the Supreme Court, but the Brown v.
