Political Involvement
Dr. Hanan Ashrawi has been actively involved in many different political
and human rights groups. Many organizations with which she has been
involved have held human rights and justice throughout the nation-building
process of Palestine as high priorities. Her work has also sought to
provide clear, accurate information about the daily life of Palestinians
to the world.
Dr. Ashrawi has authored several works, been involved
in educational institutions, and founded and lead several organizations
which aim to help with the development of Palestine as a nation. Presently,
she continues her political work and travels to speak about her work
and the situation in Palestine.
