Wilkens goes around the U.S mainly speaking at numerous schools about what happened to him in Rwanda and what he did. He came to Boston Latin School early in the 2008-2009 school year and inspired us to create this website in honor of him and his actions. The most important message he gives is how people can prevent genocide and the great importance of preventing genocide. By speaking to students Wilkens is effecting the future generations which will one day run the world and by doing so he is working to improve the future for everyone.
