Meet Heather

Heather is a freshman and this is her second year participating in the Seevak competition. She loves music (especially when played on the cello,) and she has learned a lot this year in how to build the website. She teamed up with Rachel and Shirley to guarantee that the name of Leymah Gbowee will one day be known throughout the world; she has done amazing things to advance the rights of women in Africa, and Heather believes in the advancement of rights of any underrepresented people group.

Meet Rachel

Rachel is currently a freshman and is her second year in the Seevak competition. Although she had a hard time using a Mac computer, she really enjoyed working on this project. In her spare time, she loves to play the violin, read books, and sleep.

Meet Shirley

Shirley is a freshman, in her second year participating in the Seevak Website Competition, and has enjoyed it very much so far. She loves to daydream and her favorite subjects are English and Biology. In her free time Shirley likes to read dystopian fiction novels, photograph still life objects and get sleep (which she needs badly.) She would like to thank Sheldon Seevak ’46 for giving students this wonderful opportunity to explore website designing and learning about famous people and their accomplishments.
