The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso, is both head of state and the spiritual leader of Tibet and its people. He has dedicated his life to promoting basic human values and secular ethics, encouraging interreligious harmony, and advocating for the welfare and the survival of the culture of the Tibetan people.
Nafisa is a freshman at Boston Latin School, and this is her second year competing in the Seevak website competition. She, along with her partners, decided to create a website that would showcase the incredibly important humanitarian work the Dalai Lama has done. Her other interests include science, singing, and playing the cello.
